What will you be doing:
Can you design exceptional holiday experiences? Do you have amazing guest experiences at the heart of what you do? If so, we want to put your talents to good use.Driving overseas growth is the key object of this role. This role oversees the development of our overseas products, particularly our worldwide programme, and works closely with our operations team to ensure successful delivery. The aspirations of our guests continue to evolve, and it is expected we remain at the forefront of adapting our holidays to improve their desirability and profitability.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Improving and monitoring existing holidays to be market leading
- Developing new holidays for both our existing market and to attract new customers
- Taking the company forward to meet the needs of a new customer base
- Develop and improve our off-peak range of holidays
- Taking leadership of all aspects of your product, from initial development, sales, profitability, and quality issues
- Working with other departments and suppliers to offer sales initiatives
- Promotion of products, from writing and proofing website pages, to producing articles for our various promotions and newsletters
- Working closely with all departments
- Supplier negotiation and liaison
- Training for both Sales team and our leaders
- Health and Safety knowledge to ensure all aspects are risk assessed
- Visiting new and existing holidays when required
About you:
We would love to hear from you if you have these essential skills:
- Previous experience as a Product Manager in the Travel industry is essential
- Strong commercial awareness and financial skills
- A flair for communicating a passion for these holidays, both internally and externally
- Time management with the ability to manage projects and meet deadlines
