After you’ve pasted them in the “Downloads” folder, those songs will appear on Spotify.
You can see your newly added songs on the “Local Files” tab.

3. Copy the MP3 files and paste them in the “Downloads” folder
Copy the MP3 files that you want to add to Spotify.
Now that you’ve enabled the “Show Local Files” option, you can add songs to Spotify.

Keep in mind that you can only add MP3 files.
If you have an MP4 file, you need to convert it to MP3 using an online converter before you can add it to Spotify.

This is because Spotify will only display songs from the “Downloads” folder and the “Music Library”.
Hence, if you don’t add songs to the “Downloads” folder, Spotify will not display them.

4. View your songs under “Local Files” on Spotify
To view your newly added songs, click on “Local Files” on Spotify.
Now that you’ve pasted the MP3 files in the “Downloads” folder, they’ll be added to Spotify.
To see your newly added songs, click on “Local Files” on the sidebar under the “Your Library” header.
All of your MP3 files in your “Downloads” folder will be displayed on the “Local Files” tab.
Keep in mind that if you have an MP4 file, it will not be displayed.
