According to this article, 72% of boards have at least one committee responsible for risk management and oversight. A more important statistic may be the percentage of boards that take the concerns of those committees seriously, especially as they focus closely on what AI means for the future of their business from two key angles:1. How does AI pose an additional enhanced risk (cyber or other) to a business?2. How much opportunity loss can be attributed to a lack of investment in AI tools and the value they pose for innovative purposes? While both challenges are related to a new and rapidly advancing technology, they require different types of expertise for leaders to answer and an appropriate understanding of the nuanced details decision-making often requires. #AI #DigitalTransformation #Leadership
